Department of Posts organizes customers meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 5 : Continuing with its activities on launch of "Digital India Week" Department of Posts Jammu and Kashmir Circle organized a customer meet in the office of Chief Postmaster General Jammu. According to press release, during the meet customers were apprised about the various initiatives being taken by the department and told that for reaping the benefits of emerging e-commerce business the collaborative platform of Department of Posts can be effectively used by them. The large Postal network across the country, can be used for mainstream large number of local producers and small businessmen on the ecommerce portal. The Post office will provide a platform for manufacturers/artisans/businessmen to sell their products to customers directly and bridge the gap between seller and buyer. During the deliberations in the meet the participants showed a positive response to the initiatives of the Department. However some of the customers raised certain issues which they were assured shall be looked into. B L Pandita, Assistant Director Postal Services (BD) represented the Department. |
