SAMBA, July 5 : Samba District Athletics Championship organized by J&K Amateur Athletic Association under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association concluded today at TRG Ground Vijaypur.
The result were as Under 20 years Boys 400mts, 1st Place was bagged by Deeraj Singh, 2nd by Sumit Sharma, 3rd by Sunil Kumar. In 800 Mtrs, 1st place was achieved by Amit Sharma, 2nd by Rajesh Sharma, 3rd by Sachin.
In Under 18 Yrs 100 Mtrs, Anand Kumar remained at 1st place, Sachin Sharma at 2nd , Abhishek at 3rd place. In Under 18 Years 200 Mtrs category, 1st place was bagged by Amit Kumar, 2nd by Roshan Kumar, 3rd by Aman Singh.
On the prize Distribution Function, Rajeshwar Singh Sambyal (SHO Vijaypur) was the Chief Guest who distributed prize and certificates to the winners while S S Gill Ex-Deputy Commandant BSF/Associate Secretary J&K Athletic Association was Guest of Honour on the occasion.
