Himalayan Education Mission Alumni Cracks IAS | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, July 5 : Himalayan Education Mission a premier educational institution of Rajouri got a reason to celebrate when one of its alumni Baseer-Ul- Haq cracked Indian Administrative Services by clinching 46th in UPSC -2014 results declared yesterday. Among the eight qualifiers from J&K State, Baseer got the first rank which doubled the happiness of the parents , teachers, and general populace of the entire peerpanchal range. Hailing from very humble family of thanamandi Baseer- Ul- Haq has ignited the minds of hundreds of UPSC aspirants of this remote hilly border belt of Rajouri. Commenting on his almanater Baseer- Ul- Haq said "I got basic education from Himalayan Education Mission School Rajouri that played a primary role in civil services examination". The management and teachers of Himalayan Education Mission School extended their heartfelt congratulations to their brighter alumni for bringing this geographically isolated, politically marginalized and economically weaker area of the country on national map. This is worthwhile to mention here that earlier one Dr. Shahid Iqbal( presently serving as DC Udhampur) also an ex-students of Himalayan School Qualified IAS and brought laurels to this area. The institution also congratulated the other seven IAS qualifiers of the state hailing from Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir regions. |
