Two day annual Parna yatra begins at Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar July 28: Two day annual Parna yatra of Bal Ashtdast Buja Matta began in Kishtwar District on high note as hundreds of followers of Goddess Kali participated in the Shoba yatra which begins from temple of Bal Ashtdast Buja Mata at Sarkoot Kishtwar. Hundreds of devotees startedassembling at the temple since early morning to seek the blessings of Goddess of Bal Ashtdast Buja Mata. Shoba Yatra left the Kishtwar towards Parna temple Chingham Chatroo in the afternoon amid tight security cover led by Dy. SP DAR Sanjay Parihar and Dy. SP HQ Touseef Ahmed. After leaving Kishtwar, the yatra halts at two places one at Neelkant Mandir Bhanderkot and at Dadpath for distribution of parshad among the devotees. The yatra reach Parna temple this evening itself and after night and morning prayers at temple of goddess of Bal Ashtdast Buja Matta , the yatra will conclude tomorrow. More than 20000 devotees are expected to participate in night Puja as well as in the morning Puja. On this occasion District Administration & police have also made special arrangements for the yatries. In charge SHO Kishtwar Nayeem ul Haq Mattoo escorted the Yatra till jurisdiction of Police Station Kishtwar from where SHO Chatroo Ravi Kumar escorted the Yatra up to Parna temple. Tehsildar Chatroo has been assigned the duty of Yatra officer by District administration and accompanied the yatra from Kishtwar itself. |
