TNWS calls on VC JDA Demands conversion of Lease Hold Plots to free hold 7/29/2015 12:00:14 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 28: A deputation of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) met Vice Chairman (VC) Jammu Development Authority (JDA) and referred to its long standing demand of conversion of Lease Hold to free hold in favour of all the allottees of plots on same terms and conditions as has been done in case of Gandhi Nagar and Channi Himmat residents. It was brought to the notice of VC JDA that the case is reported to have been processed and it now requires the approval of Chairman, Board of Directors JDA. Other demands put before the VC, JDA by deputation lead by president TNWS include cutting of old Eucalyptus trees that are endangering the houses in the vicinity in the Main Trikuta Nagar Park along Sector-9, fencing the land occupied by the Police station in Sector-9, toilet and wash room facility near Children's playing Corner, commissioning of refreshment facility corner constructed by JDA, providing one Reading Room as promised earlier and cleaning of Nallah (constructed by ERA).
