| LWWS stages motivational play on 'menace of Drinking' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22 : Lalded Women Welfare Society ( Regd.) in a bid to aware the people regarding menace of drinking staged a motivational programme at Bahu Plaza here today in continuation of its Saturday series. According to spokesperson, the play conceived and written by Rampaul and directed by Naveen Pal revolves around one male character Nattu who is only earning hand of family. He has growing children and old parents to look after also but Nattu was under constant worry how to sustain further. He came into contact of a person who tells to accompany him to forget all these problems and both drank wine. Later Nattu becomes addicted and often exhausted his hard earned money over drinking and meantime he also falls sick and was diagnosed for Kidney failure. After listening, this every member of family go shocked, ,meantime Nattu managed a Kidney donor but he put forth some strange conditions like you (Nattu and others) have also to donate body parts, receiver should not drink. The writer conveys the message that we should not use alcoholic things in the interest of family and society. Rampaul (Social activist, coordinator), Naveen pal-(Actor and director), Santosh Basotra, Anju Sanotra, Sonu etc enacted the various characters of the play which was appreciated by the impressive audience. |
