Sainik School Nagrota celebrates 46th Raising Day 8/23/2015 12:27:45 AM Early Times Report Nagrota, Aug 22 : The 46th Raising Day of Sainik School Nagrota was celebrated on 22nd Aug 2015 with great spirit and fervour at Maj Somnath Sharma (PVC) Stadium of the school. The celebrations began with a colourful ceremonial parade led by Cadet Aditya Kumar in which 450 cadets of the school participated. Col Kapil Dev Kaushal, Principal of the school reviewed the parade and acknowledged the salute. The young cadets of the school also presented a dance performance representing the tricolour in their colourful costumes on this occasion. To commemorate this historic day of the school, Col Kapil Dev Kaushal released pigeons and balloons to soar in the blue sky amidst loud applause from one and all. In his address, the Principal paid rich tributes to the founder Principal of the school Cdr NN Seth and successive officers under whose leadership the school achieved success and reputation over four decades.
