Jammu, Sept 10: Accusing Vice Chancellor University of Jammu for promoting Gundaism in the campus, JYF condemned formers of for sending goons in Early Times office to threaten for exposing malpractice being run in the campus.
Addressing press media persons, JYF president Mohammad Akram Ahmed said that the attempt has once again exposed revenge-full-attitude of Prof R D Sharma, who sent pack of goons who have no credential on moral ground and had indulged anti-university activities for vest interests.
"These goons have been blackmailing, administration to get un-due benefits since long, but un-fortunately, instead of making the campus menace free, the incumbent has been using them to justifying his wrong-doing", he said, adding that Early Times being bold voice of people has been exposing corruption prevailing in the system, but instead of respecting crusade against corruption carried-out by the ET, Dr Sharma being an academician left no-stone unturned to crush the students. "He (VC) already had tried hard shut the voices of student against malpractices in the campus, but, taking cognizance of scam exposed by the students, he expelled them un-democratically", he said.
"Since Prof R D Sharma took over, as vice chancellor, he is paving way for goons in the campus, to legitimate his misdeed. Eligibilities being altered/ ignored to adjust his scholars, goons relatives of some politicians", he alleged.
He further alleged that the JU administration is misleading Governor House, over various enquiries initiated over the directions of chancellor. Requesting upon Chief Minister to intervene matter to prevent further loss to the prestigious intuition, he said that CM Mufti Mohd Sayeed who is also Pro-Chancellor should order a high level probe to expose the un-holly nexus being run in University. |
