ICAI, CT organize training session for GST | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 10 : The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in association with Department of Commercial Taxes, J&K Government organized a training session on proposed Goods & Services Tax Act. As per press release, CA Rohini Aggarwal, CA HL Madan, & CA Varinder Chowhan were the guest faculty on the occasion. In the first session, the training of Officers of Department including Dy. Commissioners, CTO's, Inspectors & other staff of commercial Taxes Department was carried out by way of power point presentation. A separate training & interactive session was also held in the Commercial Taxes Department wherein the members & representatives from Chamber of Commerce & various trade & Industrial associations participated & they were apprised about the various aspects of proposed GST bill & its impact on business. The specific issues relating to trade & industry of J&K were also discussed in the session. Anoo Malhotra , Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes (Adm) Jammu, Pankaj Magotra & Arvind Kotwal Dy. Commissioner (Appeals) & Deepika Kumari, Dy. Commissioner (Audit) were present during the course of session. |
