Jammu, Sept 10 : A large contingent of Karatekas from KC Public School bagged 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 7 Bronze medals in J&K State Sub Junior Selection-cum-Championship 2015 held at Gandhi Bhawan.
They also turned out to be the winners of largest number of medals among all schools participating in this prestigious event hosted by Amateur Karate-Do Association of Jammu & Kashmir.
Stanzin Angmo, Shashwat Saproo, Abhikshit Mahajan, Anjan Chopra and Abhiraj Singh won a Gold Medal each whereas Mandhata Singh and Saksham Sawhney settled for a Silver each. The winners of a Bronze medal each were Tanisha Koul, Yuv Pratap Singh, Utkarsh Khajuria, Sushen Bali, Dakshveer Gupta, Tanuj Gupta and Kalyan Khajuria. Principal Amarendra Mishra and Headmistress Sofia Rana congratulated the medal winners for their outstanding performance in the championship. |
