Deputation of PHE employees meets XEn PHE,highlights demands 9/10/2015 11:25:54 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 10 : A deputation of Water Works (PHE) Employees Association, Mechanical South Division under the leadership of Shiv Kumar Sharma met the Executive Engineer of PHE (Mech) South Division and put forth their long pending demands. Shiv Kumar Sharma who is the State President of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), highlighted and discussed the demands and problems being faced by the PHE workers and Employees of PHE Mechanical South Division. The deputation stressed upon the Executive Engineer to immediately release all the pending wages of daily wagers which have fallen in arrears for approximately 22 to 28 months. He also appealed to the Government to regularize all the dailywagers ITI and Non-ITI who completed five years in service. The INTUC President Shiv Kumar Sharma brought into the notice of Executive Engineer that the PHE workers who perform duties at PHE Tubewells/Stations cannot avail even scheduled holidays for months together not even Sunday.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
