| Kailash yatra begins, Chhari Mubarak leaves Bhaderwah | | Tight security arrangements for ancient pilgrimage | |  Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Sept 10: The ancient and historical Kailash Yatra left for Kailash Kund today. The yatra started from Vasuki Nag temple Gatha after the offering of traditional prayer of the mace. The proceesion passed through various villages and localities like Gatha, Radio Station Colony, Kotli Link Road, Seri Bazar and reached near Vasuki Nag temple Vasuki Dehra where another mace from the same temple was also left for Kailash Kund. The yatra will take its first night stay at Hayan just five km from Bhaderwah and next day early in the morning it will leave for Kailash Kund and it would reach there the same day.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the yatra in which police, CRPF and Army Jawans have been deployed. Several religious organizations and people have made langars for Yatris enroute Kailash Kund.The Yatra was flagged off by MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar along with SDM Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday ,Chief Executive Officer Bhaderwah Development Authority Bal Krishan , ASP Bhaderwah Amit Bhasin , SDPO Sajjad Khan and SHO Bandeshwar Singh Manhas. Congress MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta and Janta Dal Secular leader Mast Nath Yogi were also present during the send off ceremony of the holy mace. |
