| APS Rakhmuthi celebrates Maj. DS Pannu birth anniversary | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 10: Army Public School Rakhmuthi today celebrated martyr Maj. D.S Pannu birth anniversary here at school premises.
Chairman APS Rakhmuthi, and Officer Education Officer also attended the event. The children showcased a power packed show, which commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the guest of honour.
This provided an auspicious beginning to the celebration. The programme was ushered in by the speech delivered by Education Officer.
It was followed by a plethora of events. The school choir enthralled the audience with the soulful rendition of songs. The sweet melody of the patriotic songs filled everyone with ecstasy. On the occasion, children presented heart throbbing dance performances on patriotic songs, which was captivating. It was the most riveting performance and drew an unceasing applause.
Speaking on the occasion Col (Retd) NJS Pannu praised the dynamic talent that our children exude and stressed upon the fact that we can only act like a torch but it is the youth of today who will act as our ambassadors.
Certificates of appreciation for outstanding contribution in academics by H.R.D Ministry were also given to Shaswati Ghosh, Principal APS Rakhmuthi , Pawan Sharma TGT Maths and Ex Teacher Trishna Rajput TGT English for motivating the students to excel.
The culmination was marked by vote of thanks by Principal Shaswati Ghosh. |
