Jammu, Sept 10: NIA today produced truck driver Khursheed Ahmed Bhat alias Surya, who had allegedly taken LeT terrorist Naved and his accomplice to Jammu before the Udhampur terror attack, in the court of special judge, NIA, Y P Kotwal.
After going through the NIA application, the judge extended eight days judicial remand of Surya and sent him to Kot-Bhalwal jail with the direction that he shall be produced before the competent court on expiry of remand period. He was arrested after he was identified by Naved, a Pak national, who was captured by villagers after he tried to escape after the terror strike on August 5. The driver, an LeT operative, is a resident of Awantipura. |
