YNC expresses anguish over LoC shelling victims | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Oct 1: Provincial Youth National Conference President Ajaz Jan today expressed anguish and dismay over total neglect of the shelling victim people along the Line of Control in Poonch, said despite over a month the administration is yet to reach out to them. According to press release, "Two of the injured have been rendered disabled with both the arms of one of them having been amputated but still the insensitive and callous government does not find it appropriate to minimise their agonies", alleged Jan after concluding two day visit of the border areas. Jan said the problems of people were accumulating and nobody in the administration was really interested in coming to their rescue. "The tall claims of constructing shelter sheds for the border dwellers has turned out to be a big hoax", he said. He further urged administration to wake up from the deep slumber and ensure distribution of compensation to the shelling victims on immediate basis. |
