| DC places Khilafwarzi inspector under suspension | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 1: The Khilafwarzi Inspector of Rajouri Municipality has been placed under suspension for unsatisfactory performance by the Deputy Commissioner led team of senior officers of the Rajouri district on September 29.
Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Deputy Commissioner, vide his office order No PS/ADCR/308-10 dt 20/9/15 while placing Mohd Aslam , Khilafwarzi Officer under suspension with immediate effect has also directed Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mumtaz Ali to conduct inquiry and to submit his report with recommendations within fifteen days.
Pertinently, in the second week of September Deputy Commissioner along with other senior officers had conducted a joint inspection of the markets in old Rajouri city and found encroachments on footpath in ward No 7 which was removed on spot and Khilafwarzi officer was directed by the Deputy Commissioner to ensure no such encroachment in the future.
Surprisingly on September 24 Dr Haseeb Mughal,SSP, ADC along with other senior officers conducted a visit of the markets ahead of Eid festival and found that encroachments have again taken place on the foot-path despite directions to Khilafwarzi Inspector. Taking the matter seriously Deputy Commissioner placed the said officer under suspension for dereliction of official duties. |
