Patnitop, Oct 7: As a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a week long sanitation and cleanliness drive was launched, here Wednesday. As per the directions of Chief Minister, a seven day long sanitation drive began here today which would be completed on October 13, said spokesperson. The spokesperson further said that during week long drive School Children, all stake holders such as Hoteliers, Shop Keepers, Locals, officers and officials of the Patnitop Development Authority would participate to make the drive successfully in order to obtain optimum results. Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Srangal, Chief Executive Officer Patnitop Development Authority stressed upon the cleanliness of the Meadows, Roads, Drains and Forest areas. The Patnitop Hoteliers were also requested to clean their respective hotels and their adjacent areas. It was emphasized that such drives would only be result oriented if stake holders and locals equally participate though the authority is taking various initiatives to make Patnitop garbage free tourist destination. |
