YC launches signature campaign against new recruitment policy

BHADERWAH, Oct 7: Youth Congress (YC) Bhaderwah launched a signature campaign in Bhaderwah town. The signature campaign, under the leadership of Youth Congress Bhaderwah Assembly president Waseem Jalal.
According to press release, they said the campaign will continue till the Government withdraws their anti-youth policy. Waseem Jalal said Youth Congress would not sit idle at that stage when the future of thousands of youth was at peril.He further announced that the Youth Congresss Bhaderwah constituency would soon launch this campaign throughout the villages , including Bhalessa , Charalla and other parts.
He also said the new recruitment policy has dashed the hopes of talented unemployed youth who go for higher studies to achieve degrees in the field of Medicine, Engg, Technology, teaching and other professions. There are many lacunae of this policy which need to be addressed.
"The ad-hoc recruitment policy would open flood gates for favouritism, corruption and uncertainty amongst the youth besides eroding the autonomous institutions like Public Service Commission and SSRB, they alleged, adding the government is trying to bye-pass these institution to create scope for favouritism, nepotism and corruption at the cost of deserving youth, he alleged and demanded that govt, to rethink and scrap this policy as soon as possible.
