bhaderwah, Oct 7: Government PG College Bhaderwah today honoured its achievers of sports in an impressive function which was organized in college campus.
According to press release, the top performers in Sports were felicitated by DDC Doda Bupinder Kumar who was Chief guest on the occasion along with SDM Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday ,CEO BDA Bal Krishan , Principal College Prof Syed Zaheer Abass Hashmi ,Principal DEgree College Doda Prof Raina , In charge Sports Bhaderwah College Prof Chib and others.
Speaking on the occasion Chief guest threw light on the importance of sporting activities and also praise the team members and captain of the team and also appreciated the outstanding performances from College team. Principal Degree College,Bhaderwah Prof Syed Zaheer Hashmi informed that is after 60 years that Bhaderwah team won the inter college cricket tournament.
In the final match Bhaderwah college defeated Ramnagar ,the tournament were held under the banner of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu on the campus ground.
Those students who were felicitated included Bhuran Ganai, Manjeet Kotwal, Usman Najar, Babar Nissar, Mubasher Nisar and others and students of college also presented colorful cultural programme on the occasion.
Prof Bashrat Iqbal , Dr Javed Iqbal Zargar, Prof Umar Din and other college staff also spoke on the occasion. |
