Kargil observes complete shut down 11/17/2015 11:47:57 PM Early Times Report Kargil, Nov 17: Frontier District Kargil observed a total shut down on the call of Employees Joint Action Committee Kargil which was supported by all religious bodies as well as political and social organizations. EJAC had given a call for total shut down in Kargil on the Reservation Annulment Judgment of the High Court Jammu and Kashmir. All Government establishments, Private Educational Institutions, Shops as well as traffic movement was restricted in support of the strike. Later a peaceful protest rally under the banner of EJAC Kargil in which thousands of employees, public as well as leaders of all religious, social as well as political parties participated. The rally concluded with a function in which representatives of all the Religious, Social and Political Parties supported the protest of EJAC against the Annulment of Reservation in the State. MLA Kargil and Senior Congress Leader Haji Asgar Ali Karbalie has assured that if the ruling party passes a bill in the protection of reservation bill in the coming assembly session, Opposition Party will support the bill, and added that he has taken the issue already with the Chief Minister on which CM assured him for his full consideration on protecting the reservation.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
