JKNTUF stages protest against Government 11/17/2015 11:52:57 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 17: J&K National Trade Union Front under the banner of Mohammad Gafoor Dar staged a protest demonstration of government employees, casual labours of different departments, temporary workers, aganwadi workers and helpers in front of Divisional Commissioner's Office Panama Chowk. Mohammad Gafoor Dar said that thousands of Need Base Casual Labourers of various departments including PDD, Floriculture, Soil Conservation, Wildlife, PHE, PWD, Local Body, Forest, Mechanical, Irrigation Flood Control & JDA facing problems. The protesting Government Employees, Casual Labours were raising slogans in support of their demands urging the state government to consider the genuine demands of working class of the State who are suffering badly due to the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities. While addressing the massive rally Veteran Trade Union Leader Mohammed Gafoor Dar State President J&K National Trade Union Front condemned the delaying policies of the present ruling coalition government regarding settlement of the below noted genuine demands which has already been agreed by the State Govt. on 15-09-2011 and 08-07-2012. But it is very unfortunate that despite written agreements the govt. has miserably failed to fulfill these agreements despite repeated requests. In this situation the JKNTUF cannot act as silent spectators for the suffering Govt. employees and miserable living condition of 61000 poor casual labours and ICDS workers of the state. Dar further said that JKNTUF has already given sufficient time to the state Government for consideration of the below noted genuine demands of most exploited class of the society who are rendering their valuable services to run all the important and essential services of the state.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
