GDC Akhnoor organizes prize distribution function 11/18/2015 1:31:02 AM Early Times Report Akhnoor, Nov 17 : Government Degree College Akhnoor today organized Prize Distribution cum Financial Aid function here at college premises. According to press release, MLA Akhnoor Rajiv Sharma was the chief guest. The function started with lighting of lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries followed by Saraswati Vandana by the students. Rajiv Sharma and Principal Dr. S.P Sharma and committee members distributed about forty Financial Aid cheques to the needy students and about and more than sixty mementos to the student who excelled in various events organized in college campus, University of Jammu and other city colleges. On the occasion the chief guest Rajiv Sharma announced an amount of Rs. 1lakh from his CDF for the general developmental activities of the college. The program was anchored by Riya, Sonia and Neha.
