Jammu, Jan 17 : A two-day free medical camp organized by Medanta-The Medicity Hospital Gurgaon in association with Rotary Club, Jammu Aastha and Aggarwal Sabha Jammu, at the premises of Aggarwal Sabha, near Vivekanand Chowk concluded today. According to press release, a huge gathering of patients from all ages of the community availed the benefit of the camp. Over 635 patients were examined by a team of doctors from Medanta -The Medicity Hospital Gurgaon. To make this cause even more successful in the larger interest of patient care, various manufactures of medical equipments and devices also participated by offering free tests and other vitals. The medical camp offered free consultations led by experienced doctors from Jammu as well as senior doctors from Medanta Gurgaon. The camp focused on specialist doctors raising awareness about diseases in their respective fields. In addition to the free consultation, the medical camp also had a Eye, dental and Physic unit set up for free clinical check-ups. Remarking on this novel initiative, head marketing J&K Sudhanshu Sharma, said, "As a responsible corporate citizen, we at Medanta Mediconsult Centre strive to give back to the community in ways that go beyond healthcare products and services.
