Jammu, Jan 17 : Three artists from J&K state participated in an International Painters Camp at International Centre of Reorichs, Naggar (Himachal Pradesh) According to press release, the camp is being organized by International Reorich Memorial Trust, Naggar (Kullu) from 16thto 18thJanuary, 2016 to mark the event of New Year. The programme was inaugurated by Jyoty Rana, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Manali (HP). The curator of the Centre other dignitaries were present on this occasion. Dr. Clemens Beungkun SOU (Korea), Jang S. Verman, Amrit Kaur and Anuradha (J&K), Sushma (Punjab), Peena Kundal and Naveen Diman (HP), Prabhinder Lall and Ishwar Dayal (Chandigarh), Ramesh Khatri (Utra Khand), participated in the three days Painters camp. Speaking on this occasion gave the introduction of the workshop, importance of organizing such camps in Kullu area. He said that Kullu Valley has been a rich view of nature and has produced a number of fine artists. He also put the light on the objectives of the programme. Inher address the chief guest applauded the venture undertaken by the Trust for organizing such a workshop. She said that efforts should be made to patronize and preserve art in the region. She appreciated that foreign artists are there to participate in this programme. Naveen Dhiman, President, Himachal Art Heritage and Prabhinder Lall, President, ArtFort India, Jang S. verman and Russian Officer, Alexander also spoke on this occasion. |
