NMC urges Governor to release DA installment 1/31/2016 12:12:05 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 30: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) members today held meeting in which they urged Governor NN Vohra to early release of 6precent DA in favour of state Government employees and pensioners. According to press release, President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri said that there is no reason as to why the issue of pending installment of DA should not be settled so far adding that since the Centre is mulling payment of additional amounts of DA to be incorporated in the 7th pay commission the state government employees and particulars pensioners will be put to a serious disadvantage. Shastri further said that Vohra who is always sympathetic to salaried and working classes and hoped that issue of daily wagers working in particular departments like PWD, PHE, PDD and Irrigation and Flood Control Department with respect to non-payment of their wages for the last 3 years be resolved. He also appealed Vohra to direct the concerned to release their all pending wages without further delay.
