SSU calls on Com JMC 1/31/2016 12:19:04 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 30: Sanitary Inspectors/ Sanitary Supervisors Union of Jammu Muncipal Corporation today called on Mandeep Kour, Commissioner, and JMC and lauded her efforts to improve the working of Jammu Municipal Corporation in order to provide better services to the people of Jammu. The Union members also appealed the Commissioner to sort out the pending demands of employees. They fully supported the decision taken by Commissioner to cancel the parking contract as the staff members deputed by him were misbehaving with JMC employees as well as the public in general as they were over charging the parking fee from the people who visit the Town Hall premises. Even the employees had to wait at the entrance point of the Town Hall as the staff of the contractor ignored them. They further said that during short tenure of the Commissioner, the speed of works on various projects including Sewerage treatment plant has been geared up. The Union members appealed the Governor to give maximum tenure to her in Jammu Municipal Corporation to complete various projects under her guidance for the welfare of general public.
