By delaying Govt formation, PDP-BJP befooling people of J&K: Congress 2/2/2016 12:05:18 AM Vijaypur, Feb 1 : Former Minister and Congress party's general secretary Manjit Singh today accused PDP-BJP parties of befooling people of Jammu and Kashmir by not forming Government even as they have compromised their basic ideologies to come to power. "Governor Rule is imposed in the State only because of confusion within both the political parties," said the senior Congress leader Manjit Singh said while chairing a meeting of Congress workers in Vijaypur. He said that the PDP-BJP are already in alliance and presently, they are misleading the people of the State and added if they are ready to form Government why are they delaying the process? "BJP which earlier claimed that they would not compromise interest of the Jammuities has surrendered everything and now have no right to remember the martyrs of Praja Parishad," said the Congress leader. Meanwhile, he accused the union BJP Government of their alleged attempt to sabotage the motive of MNREGA Scheme which was launched for the benefits of the poor people. He also charged BJP led NDA Government under Narendra Modi for allegedly stopping funding to MNREGA and handed it over on contract basis which would not serve the purpose.
