Several officers over stay in Poonch 2/2/2016 11:10:12 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Poonch, Feb 2: As the state government lacks significant policy on postings and transfers of Government officers, several officers in various government departments have been allegedly over staying in their offices sources said here today. Sources said that Chief Medical Officers Poonch Dr. Mumtaz Bhatti have been staying in his office since long. Though his shifting to other place was due but has not been materialized so far as Dr. Bhatti is said to be close aide of former Health Minister, the source added. Similar is the case with Block Medical Officer Dr. Shamim Bhatti who has been holding her office for the last three years and above in Poonch. In other case Chief Horticulture Officer Poonch, PK Pandit has been also staying for the last over three years in Poonch district. While as District Horticulture Officer Poonch Mohd Aziz Bhatti has been also staying since a long, sources said. Sources said there is no significant policy and using influence such government officers succeed to retain their postings at their choicest places. In other departments like, Education Deptt. Revenue Deptt Health Deptt and Sericulture Deptt there were several Junior, senior, non-gazetted and gazetted officers who have been over staying in their offices, sources said while as no measures have been taken so far to shift them other places for smooth functioning of these departments. Even in some cases people too have been fed up by these over staying officers in Govt Department as their monopoly goes unabatted.
