JAMMU, Feb 7 : Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighter Association, Shri Ram Sena, Shiv Sena Hindustan, Kranti Dal, RTO Agent Union Association, Jammu Jagruti Manch, Sangram Sena under the Chairmanship of Ved Gandotra today paid tribute to the 10 Indian Army soldiers who were martyred in the line of duty by the deadly avalanche which struck Siachen Glacier.
Candles were lit on the occasion and two minutes silence was observed in the honour of the soldiers who laid their lives for nation.
Prominent persons present on the occasion included Rajiv Mahajan (State President Shri Ram Sena), Rajesh Kesari (State President Shiv Sena Hindustan), Pritam Sharma (State President Kranti Dal), S. Gajan Singh (President RTO Agent Union Association), Faman Ali (Chairman RTO Agent Union Association), Brig Mehra (President Jammu Jagruti Manch), R.R Raina (President Sangram Sena), Parshant Kapahi, Dr Randeep Singh Parihar, S Rajinder Singh, S Shiv Rattan Singh, Guudu, Sushil Verma and Binni Mahajan. |
