| DLSA organizes essay competition on Fundamental Duties | | |

Udhampur, Feb 7: The District Legal Services Authority Udhampur organized an essay competition at Government Girls higher secondary School here today. The topic of the essay was "Fundamental duties", which aimed at increasing awareness among the students.
On the direction of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Udhampur R.S Jain ,the competition was organized under the supervision of Sushil Singh Munsiff, JMIC Udhampur ,Prem Sagar District Mobile Magistrate and Smt Manjula Arora principal of the school .
The competition was intended to create legal awareness of the Fundamental Duties of Citizens as laid down by the Constitution. A large number of students participated in the competition and were later given prizes.
Speaking on the occasion Prem Sagar District mobile magistrate said that said all citizens should perform their fundamental duties as enshrined under the Constitution of the country. He said teachers played a great role in building the nation and it was their duty to guide children towards performing their duties towards society, adding that respect for the National Flag and the National Anthem were also our duties. |
