Gandhi's vision of India is based on religious pluralism: Verma 2/8/2016 10:50:54 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 8: Rajghat Samadhi Committee organised a massive event in collaboration with Saint Murarai Bapu at Rajghat where thousands of Gandhians participated. Padmashri S P Verma, Vice President Gandhi Global was invited as one of the keynote speaker on Gandhian philosophy along with Dr S N Subha Rao Director National Youth Project, Surinder Kumar Secretary Gandhi Peace Foundation, B R Kamrah, Founder KIIT and Prof Aparna Basu Chairperson National Gandhi Museum. Padmashri S P Varma in his address emphasized on Gandhian way of life as a solution to many challenges which world is facing today. In his opinion dialogue between countries is the most effective tool to break silence and make better relationship. Today our country is encircled by many internal & external challenges. We cannot bypass such challenges without addressing them properly. He appealed all likeminded NGOs to collaborate and form a national joint action plan in order to counter such challenges in their respective areas. He further added that Mahatma Gandhi's vision of India is based on religious pluralism and cultural diversity. This diversity & pluralism is our pride and strength.
