Bike lifter held, 3 stolen bikes recovered | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 8: Police claimed to have arrested one bike lifter and also recovered three stolen bikes on his disclosures during a routine nakka checking at Bikram Chowk, a case stands registered in this regard and further investigations are on. Police spokesperson said, "Police team during a naka checking at Bikram Chowk noticed that one motorcyclist coming from Satwari towards Jammu city on seeing police tried to escape in suspicious condition but the individual was chased and apprehended." "On sustained questioning, the accused disclosed his name as Kuldeep Kumar alias Sodhi s/o Om Parkash of New Plot, Jammu, police spokesperson said adding, ":however he failed to produce requisite documents of Motor Cycle which he was driving.' "On suspicion the nakka party arrested the suspected and put him on sustained questioning the revelations were startling as he confessed that he had stolen the motor cycle from Gandhi Nagar area and added that he already has stolen two motor cycles which also were recovered on his disclosures. Police spokesperson said that the arrest was made by S/I Balram Sharma in-charge Police Post Nehru Market, Inspector Bishnesh Kumar SHO Gandhi Nagar under the close supervision of Sachin Gupta SDPO City South Jammu and Shahzad Ahmed Salaria, SP City South. |
