| Police organizes 'Anti Drug Debate Contest' under CAP | | |

Jammu, Feb 8: Kathua Police organized debate competition on Anti-Drug under Civic Action programme (CAP) in which 14 students from different schools participated. A large number of gathering was present on this occasion.
The debate competition under the supervision of SSP Kathua Neeva Jain was held with an objective to bring awareness among the students and the whole society about ill effects of drug menace.
On the occasion SDPO Basohli, DySP Jagdev Singh, SHO Basohli S/I Braham Dev were the special invitee while prominent citizens of the area were also present.
SDPO Basohli while addressing the students congratulated them for their participation and aware them about drug menace.
He also spoke on the subject i.e. symptoms of drug addictions and precautions to get away from it.
A panel of judges adjudged Gitanjali, Ashiqa (both studying in 9th of JNV Basohli) bag first and second prize respectively while Rajat Kapoor of Ramist Public School was adjudged as third in the competition The winner of the competitions were presented mementos while others were presented certificates of participation. All the students were provided with refreshments.
