Udhampur, Feb 8: Panchari police arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered 160gms of charas from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
"The accused has been identified as Baldav Singh son of Balak Ram of Village Lali in Panchari area," police said.
Sources said, "On specific information, police team from Panchari police station intercepted a person for his suspicious movements."
"During his frisking, police recovered 160 grams of charas from his possession and arrested him on the spot," he said. A case under FIR Number 08/16 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at police station Panchari. |
