JAMMU, Apr 13: A newly constructed temple of Mata Sedh-Lakshmi was inaugurated at Durga Nagar Sector 2, Jammu, by Bali Bhaghat, Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education here today.
According to press release, earlier Pran Pratishtha of Mata Sedh-Lakshmi was performed by learned pandits headed by famous Pandit Vesh Nath, Makhan Lal of Lokbhawan among chanting of Vedic mantras. On this connection a Maha Yagya for wellbeing of mankind was also performed by the Prabandhak committee Sedhlakshmi Peeth Nagbal Teerath Raj Lokbhawan. A book written by Hari Krishen Sidha on the TeerathRaj mentioning its history, importance and sanctity was also released on this occasion by all available guests. Guests were honored by presenting them a photo frame of Sedhlakshmi Peeth Lokbhawan as memento. |
