Vikrant Sharma of Bhagwati Nagar had submitted a written complaint before the duty magistrate, Jammu, stating therein that he was one of the followers of Vinod Kumar Gupta alias Bholla Nand Bholla Nath who was incharge of Bapu Asaram Ashram at Bhagwati Nagar in 2008-09. In September 2013 when Asaram was arrested, Bholla contacted him on his mobile phone a number of times and sought his help to create evidence for implicating Asaram Bapu.
He then sought the advice of one Narinder Singh and some other persons, and on their suggestion, started to record the conversation with Bholla. Bholla first allegedly asked him to give him the telephone number of Prajapati, besides arranging some girls or ladies who could level false allegations against Asaram. He also allegedly asked him to help him in creating false evidence so that whole of the family of Asaram was sent to jail. Bholla also told a news channel that bodies of some children were buried in Asaram's Bhagwati Nagar ashram. After that, Bholla allegedly asked him to remove skeltons from a Muslim graveyard and bury them in the ashram. Once it was done, he would show media the place where the bodies were buried. Bholla also allegedly told him that nobody had yet paid him the money and media had also promised to pay him money. He also allegedly told him that he was playing a big game and would arrange some girls from Mumbai after creating the false evidence against Asaram. (JNF)
