| BSF School organizes 'Career Counselling Session' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 15: Taking initiative in the drive started by border security force to minimize stress amongst wards of BSF personnel, BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu organized a career counselling and stress management session at BWWA Community Hall at Paloura campus Jammu. Dr Abhishek Chowhan, Currently Head of Department of Psychiatry at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu was the chief guest and the main speaker for the event.
The occasion was honoured by the presence of Ram Avtar DIG PSO Jammu Frontier, SS Gahlot DIG Provisioning and Dr Kamal Kumar Comdt Medical.
Dr SK Shukla, Principal BSF Senior Secondary School in his address highlighted the need to guide the young boys and girls in the right direction by both, parents as well as teachers and prevent them from going astray. DIG PSO Ram Awtar compared the modern times with the yester years and the factors that lead to stress and drastic steps taken by the youth in the wrong direction.
Dr Chowhan laid great stress on the need to develop friendly and cordial relations between the parents and their children and emphasized minimizing of peer pressure and a strict vigil against drug abuse. |
