Reasi, May 15: In a shocking revelation a Patwari allegedly demanded sexual favour from a female in lieu of getting her land recorded against her name at Pouni village in Reasi district.
A recording of the conversation of a Patwari with the aggrieved woman wherein he had used the derogatory language lure the victim into his sex trap is available with the Early Times. The recording includes the filthy and sexual utterances of the Patwari asking the victim to satiate his sexual needs.
The incident happened a few days ago when a hapless female owning a seven kanals of land at Khasra no 435 approached the Tehsildar with a request to get the land transferred in her name as she owned the same but had not executed the girdawari .
The tehsildar directed her to approach the concerned Patwari and get her work done.
The woman approached the Patwari and told him the details of the land. The Patwari, asked the victim to shell a hefty amount of Rs 15,000 to get her work done.
The victim and her husband later approached the Patwari with a plea to accept Rs 10,000 and do the needful.
After taking the bribe , the Patwari assured the victim that her work would be done, but the matter kept on lingering for months altogether .
Again the woman approached the Patwari to get her work done, where the Patwari demanded sexual favour from her.
The victim asked the Patwari to consider her case since she had greased his palms.
The Patwari remained reluctant and kept on black mailing her.
The victim revealed her ordeal before her husband, who seeing no means, tried to record the conversation of Patwari in their phone to use it as evidence against the Patwari.
Again when , the Patwari called up the victim on phone and repeated his same yearning and burning desire to have sex with her, she recorded the conversation in the phone.
Later both Husband and wife approached the Police Post Pouni and lodged the complaint against the Patwari.
Talking to Early Times, the SHO Pouni confirmed that the complaint has been lodged against a Patwari and said stern action would be taken against the culprit.
It is in place to mention here that DC Reasi has already attached this Patwari, on the charges of neglecting his duties.
The Tehsildar Pouni , when approached said that he had no idea about the recording while the SSP Reasi and SHO Pouni as well as other district officials confirmed that they have got the recording of the filthy conversation of the Patwari.
The Patwari rubbished the claims and bragged that he is very close to Revenue Minister and no official enquiry can be conducted against him.
The hapless couple has appealed the state administration to take the cognizance of the matter and get the culprit punished and their work done. |
