Divided Cong fails to evolve consensus on key issues 5/16/2016 12:32:42 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 15: Congress leadership has completely failed to develop consensus on important issues like establishing Sainik Colony in Kashmir and bringing State under the purview of NEET. On the one hand 'official' Congress is giving conflicting statements on these two issues but on the other hand dissidents are openly supporting Sainik Colony and bringing State under NEET. 'Official' Congress is neither supporting these two issues nor openly opposing. The dissidents have started open campaign in support of these two issues. Dissident Congress leaders have given statement in which they had supported Sainik Colony. Credible sources in the Congress said that dissidents are not happy over confusing statements given by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) in which he opposed Sainik Colony in Kashmir. Realizing that Jammu is their constituency and opposing Sainik Colony will not go well here, they issued statement in support of Sainik Colony. Secondly, official Congress is more tilted towards Kashmir so party is adopting confusing stands on important issues. Instead of depending on official leadership, dissidents in Congress has decided to take public stand on these issues.
