Why Ex SHO Khour is not being sent to JIC? | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 15: Despite allegations of being hand in glove in drug mafia against the Ex-SHO Khour who is under police remand for raping a woman in police custody, police is seemingly reluctant to send the SI Mohammad Iqbal to Joint interrogation Centre (JIC). Sources claimed that when he was posted as SHO Miran Sahib, allegations of his connivance with the drug mafia came to the fore, but no action was initiated against him as he was being shielded by a senior police officer. Questions are now being raised that if there are severe allegations against him besides rape charges then why police is reluctant to send him to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) for thorough investigations. Sources further claimed that the pace investigation of the current case is going well and if the investigators would maintain that pace with professional approach then more skeletons would tumble out from the cupboard. Civil society see a silver line in the dark clouds and are hoping that the ex-SHO should be sent to the JIC as he faced serious and multiple allegations. They have anchored hope that senior police officials should listen to the voice of the civil society and after weighing the gravity of allegations should send him to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC). |
