| Play presented to save environment | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9: To promote the traditional culture of J&K Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with ESRM, presented its 111th musical play series "Ped Lagao Desh Bach" at Shri Surgal Devta Park, Shant Nagar, Janipur Jammu to draw the attention of the masses to protect nature and the planet Earth.
The theme of this Play was "Save Trees" which speaks of preserving the natural resources at grass root level across the globe.
The program was inaugurated by Subash Chander, President Shant Nagar Development Committee along with M.L. Dogra, Chairman BLSKS, after plant the various trees Mohan lal Verma, Ajit Kumar, Uttam Chand, K.K. Joshi, Hem Raj prominent leader of the area were present on the occasion.
The day was observed as to protect the polluted environment as well as with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, primitive folk, art, culture of J&K region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items.
M.L. Dogra said to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action and to protect nature and the planet earth, highlighted the importance of the day. Dogra also said the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presenting more than 100 awareness programs on the different theme through folk media. |
