| NILM starts awareness drive on traffic rules in Jammu city | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 10: National Incredible Literacy Mission today started a mass level taffic awareness drive on traffic rules.
According to press release Thakur KD Kurhan Chairman of NILM said that they took up the challenge to reduce the number of road accidents by starting an accident awareness drive in Jammu city since three days.
NILM is doing all efforts for the welfare of general public, the motive behind traffic awareness drive is to check and control road accidents occurs due to our negligence and these accidents are increasing day by day.
He further added that traffic police is not the only solution to control these accidents; we must follow traffic rules which are life savers.
They further said that the awareness drive was organized in collaboration of Jammu & Kashmir Police and Mini Bus Association in Jammu city from 8th July and has covered maximum area of Jammu city.
More than 2100 persons were educated by their NGO workers in different parts of Jammu city including Pacca Danga, Parade, Bus stand, Janipur, Roop Nagar and Vikram Chowk over traffic rules.
Volunteers including Akash Gupta, Rahul, Vansh and many others remain present during awareness drive.
