40 days long Shri Rudra-Abhishek Yagya starts at Ranbireshwar Temple 7/10/2016 10:30:58 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 10 With the blessings of Lord Shiva ( Shri Ranbireshwar Mahadev ) Hawan Mandli and Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee has organized a 40 days long Rudra Abhishek Yagya at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir . On the very first day the Puja was performed by the Bar Association Jammu Ex- President Advocate M. K . Bhardwaj along with other members. Total 11 Pandits are performing the Puja . While giving the details of the Puja President of Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee Onkar Sharma ( Nandi Ji ) said that the main purpose of this 40 day long Puja is to pray for peace and prosperity for the country especially in the Jammu and Kashmir state. He said that devotees of Shiv Temple are organizing Rudra Abhishek Yagya in the temple premises from the last 10 years. He said that this function will continue upto RakshaBandan. Onkar Sharma further said that with this Puja a 40 days long Bhandara will also be organized at temple premises in which daily hundreds of Amarnath Pilgrims are taking Prashad.
