JTC holds meeting highlights demands 7/22/2016 10:43:49 PM Early times report Jammu, July 22: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) today held a meeting in which they highlight demands here at Jagti. Shadi Lal Pandita while addressing the participants has demanded that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir should take immediate steps in adjusting these Migrant employees in Jammu in different offices till the time permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community is ensured in safe and secure township in Kashmir valley. It has further been said that these migrant employees were performing their duties effectively and devotedly but were forced to leave Kashmir without any fault on their part as such they deserve to be attached in different offices in Jammu. Pandita has also demanded filling of remaining 3800 posts under Prime Ministers employment package immediately as this right has been extended to this community by the then Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh during his visit of Jammu during the year 2008. They further demanded on spot police recruitment rally at Jagti Migrant Township for affording opportunity to the educated eligible youth for their absorption in Police Department.
