| SWD top official caught with subordinate lady officer | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 22: A senior officer of Social Welfare Department (SWD) allegedly caught with a female subordinate in Jammu outskirts a few days ago has created ripples in the department.
If sources are to be believed a senior officer of Social Welfare Department (SWD) along with a female officer were caught in a car by a Police Officer in city outskirts.
According to sources the duo was initially intercepted by police near a Naka. They were later set free after the senior officer claimed the female officer was his wife.
Later, the naka was lifted but one of the police officer who knew the senior officer of SWD chased their car and found them in objectionable position near a desolate place.
Sources maintained that after they were caught the duo was given time to arrange some money following which services of a storekeeper of one of the officers were utilized who immediately collected some money and paid it to the officer for setting them free.
"The matter is in notice of the senior police officers as concerned police officer did not lodge FIR in this connection till date. The whispering started within the Social Welfare Department about the incident soon after the officer was caught"
Sources further stated that the senior police officers got information from the intelligence wing of the state police when one of the officers of Social Welfare Department disclosed the matter. The male officer is reportedly close relative of an ex-minister. |
