| Two drug peddlers held with 780 intoxicants | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Bakshi Nagar police today claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers alongwith around 780 intoxicants which were recovered from their possession during a naka checking. Police sources have identified accused have as Parveen Kumar of Bakshi Nagar and Parveen Sharma of Gurha Morh. "On specific information police party led by Inspector Ashwani Sharma under the supervision of SDPO West Nikhil Rasgotra raised a naka at Bakshi Nagar and apprehended two persons on their suspicious movements," the police sources said here today. They said, "During the frisking of the duo, the police recovered 780 intoxicants from their possession." "Both the accused were arrested on the spot while intoxicants were seized, they said. Police said that a case under FIR no. 130/16 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered and further investigations are on. |
