Traders stage protest against police 7/22/2016 11:19:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 22: Shopkeepers of bye pass near hotel Ritz today blocked the vehicular after Personal security Officers (PSOs) of Station House officer (SHO) Channi Himmat tried to seize the scooty of two youth who were going to call a doctor top examine ailing mother of pillion rider. Sources said that during a naka checking near Chevrolet showroom Channi Himmat National Highway, police team signaled a scooty to stop for checking. "PSO's of station House Officer (SHO) Channi Himmat asked the scooty rider for registration papers of scooty, sources said, adding, "however, the scooty driver requested SHO to let them go as mother of his pillion rider was ailing and they were going to call a doctor and it is urgent." "But the PSO's forcibly snatched the scooty for seizure and the action was objected by the passerby and local traders who later blocked the road also to stage protest, sources said.
