Katra, July 29: Police today claimed to have arrested a absconder who managed to give slip to police since 20/05/2016 after he was arrested alongwith illicit liquor. "On specific information, Police team from Police Station Katra under the supervision of Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Katra succeeded in arrest of an absconder namely Gurbachan Singh son of Baldev Singh of Dera Bhabbar, Reasi, police spokesperson said. Police said that the arrest was wanted in a case under FIR No.84/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, 188 of RPC in Katra Police Station when accused was held alongwith 650 Poly Pouches of J&K excise liquor but later escaped from Police and has been evading his arrest since 20/05/2016. |
