| ATM in Mandi remains out of service, Yatris face problems | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, July 29: Alleging inconvenience to people of area and the pilgrims to Shri Budha Amarnath, the locals said that that Jammu and Kashmir Bank's ATM in Mandi often remains out of service giving bad experience to the visitors to this ATM in need.
According to the reports, the ATM at Bus Stand Mandi is lying defunct since a long and all the pilgrims visiting to Shri Budha Amarnath Shrine in Poonch face problems.
Sharing odd experience at this ATM, some visitors told Early Times, that they came from Jammu but when we needed cash right now the ATM has put us in tight spots. "We pooled jointly and then paid the bill and now we are hoping next ATM might be functional otherwise we shall be without money despite having balance in our banks accounts.
Locals also expressed their shock over non functional ATM and said the bank authorities need to take care of banking services when the private banks are giving strong competition to the regional and nationalized banks.
They appealed the concerned higher ups and state authorities to direct concerned to immediately get the defunct ATM functional to streamline banking services. |
