| DPS Nagbani Conducted Calligraphy Competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 29: DPS, Nagbani conducted calligraphy competition here today in order to improve presentation skills and to inculcate habit of good handwriting among the students.
Its aim was to encourage the students to write neatly and present the content in proper manner. All the students from class I to VIII participated with full enthusiasm and showed excellent creativity through their writing skills.
This event was held in view of the changing ways of communication due to growing interest in computers. Handwriting skills have been forgotten and there is 'handwriting crisis' these days.
The adolescents of today should be encouraged to write properly and for this, such type competitions turn out to be very meaningful for the students, since calligraphy not only improves writing skills but also teaches students about their unique structure and the beauty of the language.
